The PTO needs your help with our annual celebration of Constitution Week!

Come out to this month’s meeting to see how you can help!

Need transportation to the Homecoming game on September 14?  Don’t worry, the Scholar Council’s got you covered.  The Scholar Council will have a bus that you can ride to the game and back.  Tickets are $8.  If you dress out in your super spirited fan attire you can get the discounted price of $5.  Seating is limited and can be reserved at the front desk.  Let’s support our Heroes and show our opponents how much school spirit we have!

Click here to pay your fees.

Click here to log in to PowerSchool to check your balance.

Class fees (including back-fees) are due by Monday, September 17th to avoid being dropped from all fee-bearing classes.

Dual Enrollment Registration

Registration is on-going for dual enrollment courses through Rio Salado. Courses can be added at www.my.maricopa.edu, choose “student center”. The last day to enroll in classes is September 16. For questions and assistance contact Mrs. Weiler: aweiler@heritageacademyaz.com or 480-390-4381

Picture Day is September 18th.  If you would like a packet to order pictures, please see Ms. Romito.

Class of 2019 – Senior College Planning Meetings

Meetings are optional for 12th grade scholars and their families that would like additional one-on-one assistance on topics such as, FAFSA, ACT/SAT/accuplacer testing, college applications, scholarships, etc. Schedule your appointment using the following link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4fa9a623a5ff2-class

Tickets for all of our performances will now be online.  Online ticketing for all fall performing arts events is live! Go to this link:

https://www.purplepass.com/#mm=allevents/heritage%20academy

Or go to PurplePass.com and search “heritage academy” to find all our events.

All tickets are sold online and are print-at-home. New this year is a Season Pass for those families who have children in every single fine arts performance. This pass allows a purchaser to choose six events this fall for a total of $30 (including fees), saving them about $10 per person throughout the semester.

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS!

Jostens will be on campus for your senior orders.  They will be taking orders for caps and gowns, announcements, class rings, etc.  They will be on campus to meet with the seniors during citizenship on Monday, October 1st and they will be set up in the front office on October 3rd and 4th.

The PSAT is Wednesday, October 24. (see flier below)
The PSAT is an optional preparatory test for the SAT with four focus areas: reading, writing, language, and math. Students can use their scores to think strategically about where they will apply to college. The cost is $20. The most common reasons for taking the PSAT are:
  • To help prepare for the SAT. You will become familiar with the kinds of questions and the exact directions you will see on the SAT.
  • To enter the competition for scholarships from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (grade 11).
  • To assess your strengths and weaknesses on skills necessary for college study.
  • To see how your performance on admissions tests compares to other students applying to college.
  • To receive information from colleges when you check “yes” to Student Search Service.
  • To help prepare for the SAT. You can become familiar with the kinds of questions and the exact directions you will see on the SAT.

Registration and payment can be done through the school website. Select “fees”, choose “other” and add the description: “PSAT Test.”
