It’s time to start thinking about the 2018 science tour for 9th and 10th grade scholars that will take place October 9-12, 2018. Your scholar is eligible to sign up if they will be in either 9th or 10th grade in the 2018-2019 school year. This year’s tour will include time at University of San Diego, the Scripps institute (biomedical research institute), ocean kayaking and marine biology at La Jolla, and STEAM workshops at the Fleet science center.
Space for this trip is very limited – scholars from all three Heritage campuses are invited to participate, and only 44 slots are open. In order to secure a slot a non-refundable $250 deposit must be submitted to the front office as soon as possible. It is anticipated that this trip will fill quickly (in the past, Mesa campus has done their own trip, and it is always full).
You will find an itinerary for the trip here, as well as a payment schedule. This trip will only cost $650 per scholar.
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Halterman at email@example.com
Scholars who will be juniors or seniors this fall are invited to participate in the Independence Tour in October. This trip will take scholars to Williamsburg; Monticello; Washington, DC; Philadelphia; Valley Forge; Gettysburg; and much more. For more information click here.
