In the summer of 1899, we Newsies had to make a living. “How did we do that?” You might ask, well we sold newspapers from none other than the wealthy Mr. Joseph Pulitzer. It was an honest and hardworking job for us Newsies. Until one day Mr. Pulitzer saw that his profit from our work wasn’t doing too good, so he raised the price upon our work! Our fearless leader Jack Kelly didn’t stand for that. He took our ragtag team of orphans, runaways, delinquents, miscreants, but most importantly brothers on an adventure none of us, or you will forget!
Our amazingly talented group of actors alongside Mr. Lund their director, Ms. Stoffer their musical director, and Ms. Vincent their dance choreographer are all proud to deliver the production of Newsies to you!
