Tours & Retreats

Heritage Academy offers our scholars opportunities and experiences, outside of school hours, that help build character, learn new skills, and provide memories that will last a lifetime. These experiences are packaged into “Tours” and have been part of the Heritage Academy experience for the past 25 years.

2020 Arts Retreat

Fine Arts Retreat: January 8 – 11, 2020

Accomplished scholars are invited to attend the fine arts retreat. This is a combined retreat with the Mesa and Queen Creek campuses, providing the scholars with the opportunity to meet and work with other artists and performers in a rigorous, two-day intensive with live performances on Saturday morning.

We offer full orchestra, dance, ballroom, show choir, a capella choir, drum-line, visual art, slam poetry, yearbook/photography, and audio-visual programs at the fine arts retreat.

Participation costs $250

We encourage scholars to use the AZ Tax Credits in order to subsidize this cost. We will also have fundraising opportunities throughout the year to help offset these costs. Payments are due in August, October, and December.

There is a required informational meeting for all scholars attending the retreat and their parents on Tuesday, January 6th at 6:00 pm in the band room. Final schedules, packing lists, and group assignments will be handed out at this time. All questions will be answered at this meeting – please attend!
