Joseph Arnold
Head Varsity Soccer Coach
Coach Arnold has been teaching for fifteen years. He started teaching in Phoenix before relocating with his family to Colorado Springs. He taught French and coached cross-country and soccer in Colorado for 7 years before moving back to Arizona. He came to Heritage Academy Laveen in 2015 and took over the junior high soccer program which he continues to coach in the Spring along with high school cross-country in the Fall. In 2018 he took over the high school soccer program. Since then, the program has grown to include both JV and Varsity teams. Coach Arnold grew up playing soccer and loves the game! He is excited to see the programs continued growth and the enthusiasm of the players at Heritage.
Adam Witcher
Head Junior Varsity Coach
Coach Adam Witcher has taught General Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Financial Literacy as well as coached boys soccer over the past 8 years. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Economics in April of 2012, completed a Secondary Math program at Rio Salado in 2014, and earned his Masters degree in Special Education in 2018. Coach Witcher’s wife is an Arizona native while he grew up in Texas where he raised goats, marched in the band, played football and became an Eagle Scout. The Witchers have 4 daughters and a son. In their free time they love to enjoy the outdoors; camping, hiking, biking, and kayaking.
