3/15/20

Dear Heritage Families,

The COVID-19 situation continues to be very fluid with new information coming out regularly.  A short time ago, Governor Doug Ducey and Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman released a statement asking that schools close from Monday, March 16, 2020, through Friday, March 27, 2020. They also asked that we continue to provide learning through online resources or materials that can be sent home.

This direction is consistent with our most recent communication of moving our program online, but we would like to make the following updates to our timeline.

  1. Throughout this week Scholars will receive additional information on how to access their online classes in Google Classroom or Edmodo if needed.
  2. On Monday, 23 March 2020 Scholars should log in to their online classes such as Google Classroom or Edmodo and resume instruction for the last quarter.
  3. Scholars do not need to log into their online classes before Monday, 23 March 2020.

We will continue with our other measures published in our last communication to families. At this time we expect additional information from the State on matters such as testing, graduation, and the school calendar. More information is forthcoming.

Thank you for providing your feedback and understanding during this time. Like other pandemic situations, this will also pass and we will soon be able to resume our full program of Building America’s Heroes.

Sincerely,

Jared Taylor
